...

I think I'm going through a pre-midlife crisis. I can't deciede what it is I want to do with my life, and I keep wanting to change majors. I just can't seem to find anything that suites me.

So what did I do? I took a questionare to see what they think I should do. ...Here are the results:

What career will suit your personality?

This description is a generalisation. If it rings true, you've found your career type. If it doesn't, return to the quiz, decide whether you answered truthfully, and not by what you think you should answer. Redo your answers and read your new results.
You would be very happy in a career that utilised your level-headedness, and allowed you to work mainly on your own. You want a career that allows you to be creative, without having to be involved with lots of people. Some careers that would be perfect for you are:
Artist
Historian
Banker
Novelist
University Professor
Photographer
Vet
Paralegal
Graphic Designer
Online Content Developer
Webmaster
Producer
Managing Director
Nutritionist
Advertising
Nursing
You like working and being alone. You like to avoid attention at all costs. You tend to keep to yourself, and not interact much with the people around you. You enjoy spending time with a few a close friends. You like to listen to others, but don't like sharing much about yourself. You are very quiet and private.

You are very practical, and only act after thinking things through. You don't like being forced to answer quickly. You have to evaluate the situation completely. You make decisions based on what you can verify with your senses.

You like to be deeply involved in one or two special projects. You like to be behind the scenes. You are very logical and fair. You feel you should be honest with others and protect their feelings.

You trust your gut instincts. You are easily inspired and trust that inspiration. You are very innovative. You analyse things by looking at the big picture. You are concerned about how what you do affects others. You worry about your actions and the future. You tend to use a lot of metaphors and are very descriptive and colourful in your choice of language.

You are very creative, and get bored easily if you don't get to express yourself. You like to learn new things. You dont like the same old routine. You like to leave your options open.

...Not a fan of the results, I should add... What do you think?

This is me talking so you know it's going to be glowing and 'Ahhhhh' (angels singing) but you also know that it's going to be the truth.

Those descriptions are you. As well as I know you that's pretty much what you would find on the back of your DVD case or the inside of a book cover.

As for the jobs listed, Photographer, Vet, Paralegal, Producer and Managing Director all seem like careers that would be perfect for you.

In fact those fields would be lucky to have you and I can definitely see you being happy in any of them.

You're bossy but in a good way that makes your employees want to work harder to make you proud.

You're logical but not to the point where you shut out compassion.

You're intelligent in that you quickly figure out the best way to accomplish something efficiently.

You're amazing. Yeah I said it. Because it's true.

I know what it's like to question what your future holds and if you can live up to it, but sometimes it's best not to think so much about the future.

Think about the present and the immediate future. Dwelling on what happens five or 10 years from now is the same as dwelling on what happened five or 10 years ago.

Whatever you choose to do I'm sure will be the right decision. Trust me.

...wow, that was more of a blog than a comment now wasn't it haha.

I vote that you go into photography! I always wished that I knew what I was doing behind the camera. And.....there is good money to be made!
